circa 1960, 28in. nitro barrels the rib engraved 'GALLYON & SONS. LTD. CAMBRIDGE & KING'S LYNN.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech-end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, toplever engraved with the cornucopia, automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' detail, floral bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, the triggerguard also engraved with the cornucopia, 14 3/4in. stock including 1 1/4in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 13oz., in a canvas Brady guncase with Gallyon & Sons Ltd trade label
