Belgian circa 1885, with blued octagonal 25in. barrel, dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with additional folding leaf, partly concealed colour-hardened receiver with dropped sides and colour hardened dropping feed-ramp, external hammer to central rear, chequered walnut straight-hand half-stock, iron furniture including colour-hardened heel-plate and blued trigger-guard bow (forming the under-lever), appearing little used and retaining virtually all its original finish and colour, slight action fault
