A SCARCE .22 PERCUSSION BREAK-ACTION GALLERY-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1850, with octagonal 7 3/8in. drop-down barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, squared breech with rear-mounted nipple, squared scroll engraved boxlock action with dummy side-hammer for cocking, fluted walnut grip with spire pommel, set trigger and spurred trigger-guard, short swing under-lever for opening, minimal traces of finish throughout

Other Notes: This particular type of gallery pistol fired a muzzle-loaded lead ball with a percussion cap alone
