A .650 PERCUSSION SERVICE-PISTOL, MODEL 'EAST INDIA GOVERNMENT TYPE', no visible serial number,
dated for 1867, with round iron 8in. barrel, boat-shaped fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with short sighting platform, cheese-head top-nail, plain lock signed 'BIRMINGHAM 1867', the tail marked with a crown over 'E.I.G.', walnut full-stock, the left side stamped with a 'Birmingham' roundel and marked 'JOSEPH BOURNE & SONS', brass furniture , the butt-cap with iron lanyard ring, single barrel-key (small repair to wood) and captive iron ramrod, finish worn to metalwork.
