circa 1815, with Birmingham proved round iron barrel (missing fore-sight), moulded band at breech, solid top-tang with rounded tip, military style lock with ring-necked cock and crown only stamp below pan, walnut handrail full-stock with brass furniture (furniture retaining lacquered finish), carved apron around the top-tang, iron stirrup swivels and provision for under-barrel ramrod (missing)
