28in. nitro Acier Comprime-steel barrels with raised ventilated matt top-rib and wooden side-fillets, tubes engraved 'AUG. FRANCOTTE. LIEGE. FAIT POUR S.C.A.M. A MILAN', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, manual safety, articulated front-trigger, cocking-indicators, the action, lockplates and furniture profusely engraved with bold stylised acanthus and floral motifs on a matt background, triggerplate signed 'COMPOSITION RENAISSANCE', minor chip at knuckle, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stock including 3/4in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 6oz.
