A GOOD CASED .450 DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY MKI RIC', serial no. 7965,
circa 1880, with blued ovoid 4 1/2in. barrel (marked around fore-sight), sighting groove to top-strap, flush fitting ejector crane around barrel, blued stepped frame marked 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', plain blued six-shot cylinder with front locking notches, brushed bright hammer and trigger, chequered walnut semi saw-handled one-piece grip, lanyard ring at pommel and guarded trigger, the whole retaining virtually all its factory bued finish except where noted and complete with an unlabelled English market oak storage case compartmented and lined in blue baize with provision for ammunition and including a turn-screw, oil-bottle and cleaning rod
