second year of manufacture, 1874, with brushed bright 5 1/2in. barrel scrubbed of address details, 'bullseye' ejector, front of frame retaining screw for cylinder arbor, solid iron frame with two lines of patents to 1872, matching number cylinder, iron grip-straps and smooth walnut grips (worn), the whole heavily cleaned of all finish, some mild pitting and detail faint where present.
