A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLING-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with blued (some staining) octagonal 9in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'LONDON' (lightly rubbed), gold line at breech, gold touch-hole, bevel edged step tailed lock signed 'JOVER' below the pan, roller to the frizzen-spring, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt (inlet repair to right side of fore-end), engraved trigger-guard bow, pineapple finial, plain barrel-keys and horn-tipped ramrod, fitted with a contemporary period iron belt-hook to the left hand side for Officer use.
