30in. Greener trademark steel nitro barrels with acanthus scrollwork at the breech ends, rib gold-inlaid '2' and engraved 'W.W. GREENER. MAKER. 40 PALL MALL. LONDON. WORKS ST. MARY'S SQUARE. BIRMINGHAM.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, right bore dimension marginal and wall thickness at 18, scroll-back treble-grip action with arcaded fences, ropework engraved shoulders, automatic tang safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, the action and bottomplate profusely engraved with fine scrolling acanthus and bands of finely engraved leafwork surrounding vignettes of hound flushing partridge and duck, the underside with a solitary woodcock, the triggerguard with two pointers, the triggerguard tang engraved 'GRADE G60', brushed and blued finish overall, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stock with ornate horn-inlaid drop points, chequering refreshed, slender fore-end with horn finial, Deeley & Edge patent release catch with border and scroll engraving and a vignette of a mallard in flight, weight 6lb. 8oz.

Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was started on 27th April 1908 and completed on the 3rd April 1909 as the No.2 gun of a pair of G60 Ejectors. The guns were made as a pair of 12-bores with 30in Sandvik steel barrels and sold through Greener's London establishment (so owner not recorded).
