modelled on a 'Society of Minature Rifle Clubs' Martini-Henry conversion, with 30 1/2in. blued barrel signed 'W. W. GREENER, MAKER, BIRMINGHAM', tunnel fore-sight with interchangeable elements, military-style ladder rear-sight, blued receiver engraved with a trophy and the legend 'QUEEN'S CUP WINNER' in a banner on the right hand side and 'W. W. GREENER, MAKER, BIRMINGHAM' on the left, figured walnut military full-stock, diopter folding peep-sight mounted on the wrist, blued steel furniture and sling-swivels, the whole being a commercial refinish (probably contemporary with the rifle) with slight storage corrosion
