Belgian proofed stepped heavy nitro barrel with open sights and two folding leaf sights marked 100, 200 and 300, block-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end engraved with the crest of the Lalaing family with a scrolling banner engraved 'Comte de Lalaing', manual tang safety, Farquharson style falling block action with bold acanthus scroll engraving on a matted background, the left side engraved 'Jansen fournisseur de la Majeste la Roi Bruxelles', bright finish overall, 15in. figured pistolgrip stock with pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and including 1in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, weight 13lb. 4oz.
