A GEORGIAN SWORDSTICK WITH BLUE & GILT BLADE, UNSIGNED,
circa 1810, with single edged 26 1/2in. blade with narrow fuller along the back edge to within 7in. of the tip, the first 10 3/4in. decorated with gilt foliage on a blue ground (some discolouration), naturalistic wood shaft with copper collar at neck (age cracks and small losses) and crooked handle bored through with escutcheoned lanyard aperture, 37 1/2in. overall including copper ferrule at tip
