circa 1900, 30in. nitro reproved blacked damascus barrels, rib engraved 'W. RICHARDS. 27 OLD HALL ST. LIVERPOOL', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, protruding tumbler pivots with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name engraved within a scrolling banner, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 11oz.
