* AN 18.55mm SWEDISH / NORWEGIAN MODEL 1815 / 1845 PERCUSSION MUSKET CONVERTED FROM FLINTLOCK, serial no. 573,
circa 1815 with 41in. barrel with brass blade front-sight and bayonet stud on underside at muzzle, fixed vee rear-sight fitted to breech tang, the lock of flintlock form and converted to percussion, stamped with a crowned 'N.T' inspection stamp to centre and '573', dog catch on the tail, regulation brass mounted full artic birch stock, the left side of the butt with scooped cheek-rest, three wide brass barrel bands, complete with sling swivels and replacement rod

Provenance: Originally made circa 1820 as a flintlock musket and later circa 1845 converted to percussion. At that time there was a union between Sweden and Norway and the same or similar arms were used by both armies
