A SCARCE .177 WEBLEY & SCOTT PRE-WAR 'STRAIGHT GRIP SENIOR' AIR-PISTOL, serial no. S3350,
circa 1932, with sighted rifled replacement 6 5/8in. barrel (from a pre-war slant-grip without knurling), blued stepped air-chamber marked with five lines of patents on the left hand side together with the model designation, Birmingham address and six lines of patents on the right, three pin trigger-group with no provision for trigger adjustment, chequered hard rubber grips embossed with the 'WS' monogram, the back-plug marked 'NOT TO BE REMOVED', much apparent original finish remaining
