circa 1805, with iron 12in. barrel banded at the breech, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' at the pointed tail and marked with a crown over 'GR' device partially rubbed out and overstamped 'TAYLOR' below the pan, Board of Ordnance marked walnut full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang, heavy brass furniture, long iron belt-hook and replacement brass-tipped wood ramrod, 19 1/2in. overall, weight approximately 3 1/4lbs.
