28in. nitro reproved chopperlump barrels, the ribs engraved 'JOHN POWELL (GUNMAKER). REIGATE,' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, treble-grip actions with hidden third bites by Grulla of Spain, removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, hand-detachable lockplates, cocking-indicators, Holland & Holland style self-opening systems, articulated front triggers, rolled-edge triggerguards, the actions, lockplates and furniture engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork with floral bouquets, the No.1 gun lockplates with game scenes of hound flushing pheasant and partridge and the underside with the portrait of a labrador, the No.2 gun lockplates with game scenes of hound flushing duck and grouse, the underside with a lone grouse in flight, each signed 'K.C. Hunt' or 'K.C.H.', one dated '81', bright finish, 15 1/2in. figured stocks, No.1 cracked through and partly repaired at hand, 1/2in. rubber recoil pads, weight 7lb.
