dated for 1880, with 4 1/2in. two-stage barrel (excellent bore), applied fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, solid frame with field-strippable sideplate, plain stepped cylinder, side loading gate, double action mechanism and chequered walnut grip with lanyard ring at heel, in the white finish (dull) traces of straw colour to ancillaries
