A FINE .500 (BOXER) DOUBLE-BARRELLED ROTARY UNDERLEVER HAMMER PISTOL, serial no. 1890,
third quarter of the 19th century, with 7in. twist sighted rifled barrels with gold-inlaid band of decoration at the breech, the rib engraved with a panel of scrollwork and signed 'A. IZZO. NAPOLI' in gold, foliate and scroll engraved action signed 'IZZO' and 'NAPOLI' and retaining some original colour hardening, the forward facing underlever signed 'IZZO' in gold, figured walnut butt with chequered panels, scroll engraved faceted pommel with lanyard ring, and scroll engraved trigger-guard with gilt serial number
