circa 1790, with plain 2 3/8in. turn-off barrels numbered '2' and '3' respectively, star-cut muzzles, borderline engraved breech with private proofs, slab-sided trophy engraved boxlock action with central cock and guarded trigger, sliding safe to top-tang also locking pan and smooth slab-sided walnut grip with white metal oval escutcheon at wrist
