for 1901, with round, nickel-plated 3 1/2in. barrel signed on three lines, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, fluted swing-out six-shot cylinder, solid frame, the sideplate marked with the Colt trademark surrounded by the wording 'COLT'S NEW POCKET', blued hammer with brushed bright sides, blued trigger, chequered black hard rubber grips, retaining the majority of its original nickel plated finish
