A CARVED AND ENGRAVED INDIAN ALL-STEEL FLANGED MACE,
circa 1820, with 17 1/4in. hollow handle (possibly originally concealing a dagger), carved and engraved with a spiral of floral decoration, conical collar with similar decoration leading to the eight-bladed head, each blade carved and decorated en-suite, the top surmounted with a gilded rosette and a conical eight flanged spike, some dark areas of corrosion that have removed detail on shaft
