MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, self-opening action with removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. well-figured stock, weight 6lb. 12oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case with some accessories
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in 1923 with 29in. barrels for 'Kura'.
