AN INTERESTING PAINTED GLASS TUMBLER, believed World War Two, 6in. high with fluted lower half, each flute painted either red, white or blue (white discoloured), the top half plain and hand-painted with a realistic depiction of a Mosquito aircraft in flight together with the legend 'MOSSY:-BERLIN' and signed 'PADDY CAV', the opposite side with the Royal Air Force crest and motto surmounted with a king's crown above a banner marked 'R-A-F', small amount of paint loss, generally very good.
Provenance: Vendor tradition has it that this glass was painted by an unknown member of 105 SQN, RAF.
