A 7mm PINFIRE 'PEPPERBOX' REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, circa 1860, with fluted Birmingham proved 1 7/8in. barrel group with external locking, open iron frame, iron spurless hammer, chequered walnut bag-shaped butt with lanyard ring at heel and folding iron trigger, strong traces of finish where appropriate and fitted to a period leather and white-metal fob-chain
