AN ORIGINAL FINE BRONZE SCULPTURE OF TWO HUNTING DOGS AND A PHEASANT,
one of Mene's best known dog groups, exhibited in wax at the 1848 Salon, listed no. 25 in Mene's catalogue, the dogs are Sylphie the setter and Tac the pointer, dated 1847, measuring approx. 16 1/2in. x 8 3/4in. x 8 1/4in.
