MADE OF SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech-ends (No.1 left wall thickness below recommended minimum), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke (No.1) imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke (No.2), Purdey self-opening actions, the toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, cocking indicators, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 15in. figured replacement stocks, weight 6lb. 5oz. (No.1) 6lb. 6oz. (No.2), in their makers brass-cornered oak and leather double case with protective internal flap and some accessories
