A 32-BORE PERCUSSION BELT-PISTOL FOR HIGHLAND DRESS SIGNED MURDOCH, no visible serial number,
circa 1880, with triple-staged 6in. barrel engraved with scrolls and trophies (cleaned), borderline and scroll engraved lock signed 'MURDOCH', engraved hammer, distinctive Scottish style all steel stock with slab-sided butt (traces of engraving), iron belt-hook, 'ramshorn' heel with 'thistle-head' pricker stored between the horns, unguarded ball trigger and under-barrel iron ramrod
