A 12-BORE (3IN.) 'THE BRENT' BOXLOCK EJECTOR WILDFOWLING GUN, serial no. 18389,
for 1952, 30in. nitro barrels with raised wave-cut rib engraved 'EJECTOR', the tubes engraved 'THOMAS BLAND & SONS. 4 & 5. WILLIAM IV STREET. WEST STRAND. LONDON.', 3in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, treble-grip action, automatic safety with inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, retaining slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 10oz.

Thomas Bland Gun Number 18389:

This gun was manufactured as a 12 bore double barrel "BRENT MODEL" Boxlock Ejector Gun. the Chambers were 3 inches. The action and related hardware was to be best colour hardened with border engraving. The 30 inch barrels and related hardware was to be best blacked.

The weight was 7 pounds 10 ounces. The figured for strength stock had a 14 3/4 inch pull. The Anson & Deeley forend was to have a matching piece of wood. The gun was finished in a Makers Canvas & Leather Case.

The gun was completed and delivered on 17 March 1952 to a Lt. Miller for Export at a cost of 66.00 pounds sterling.
