circa 1795, with three 1 1/4in. round iron turn-off barrels arranged in an inverted triangular formation (frozen), false rifling at the muzzles, borderline and trophy engraved brass boxlock action signed 'HAST' on the left and 'COLCHESTER' on the right hand side, central cock and three-position tap with engraved boss, sliding safe to the top-tang, walnut slab-sided butt with chequered back-strap, rectangular white metal vacant escutcheon and guarded trigger
