28in. nitro chopperlump barrels, sunken ribs engraved 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY STREET. LONDON. MADE OF SPECIAL SUPER NICKEL STEEL', and engraved '1' and '2' at the breech ends, No.2 barrels with some pits, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, toplevers engraved '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, removable striker discs, cocking-indicators, non-selective single triggers, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 7/8in. stocks, No.1 including 1 1/2in. wooden extension, minor setting crack to rear of right lockplate, No.2 a replacement (cracked at head), weight 6lb. 4oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case with some accessories
