BEVERLEY', and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke (No.1) and imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke (No.2), treble-grip actions with hidden third bites, fences finely craved in relief with stylised acanthus leaves, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bordering, No.1 retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and some renewed finish, No.2 retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. well-figured stock including buttplate (No.1) and 15 3/4in. stock including 2in. wooden extension (No.2), weight 6lb. 5oz.
