being a commemorative set from 1977, both second generation Colt 1860 Army models with blued 8in. barrels signed by the maker and inscribed 'UNITED STATES CAVALRY COMMEMORATIVE', roll engraved stepped cylinders, colour hardened open iron frames, brass grip-straps and smooth walnut grips with martial cartouches, each revolver new and unused in its individual maker's carton with swing-tags and instructions, the cartons in turn contained within a further card shipping carton also containing a detachable shoulder-stock, a Colt powder flask, a nipple key, iron bullet mould and special cap tin and a walnut storage case to accommodate the two pistols, stock and accessories, all appearing new and unused
