A GOOD PATTERN 1907 SWORD BAYONET BY WILKINSON FOR THE SMLE RIFLE, dated 12. 16, with 17 in. single-edged steel blade, fullered on each side, ricasso with 'king's crown / GR / 1907 / 12. 16 / WILKINSON / PALL MALL' with Broad Arrow, Bend Test 'X' and various inspection marks over, steel hilt, wooden grips, together with its black leather scabbard carrying inspection marks and Broad Arrow stamp, steel fittings, some minor staining to the blade and some surface rust to the exposed metalwork, 22 1/2 in. overall
