A PAIR OF GERMAN WORLD WAR II BAYONETS FOR THE K98k MAUSER RIFLE, early 1940s, with 10 in. single-edged steel blades fullered on each side, steel hilts with Bakelite grips, 16 in, overall, 1) ricasso marked '42 cof' with '73 / c' over, black grips, pommel with Waffenamt stamps, together with its Waffenamt-stamped steel scabbard and black leather frog, scabbard with some shallow denting, frog worn with stitching separation; 2) ricasso marked 'ab44' with '6520 / d' over, brown grips, pommel with Waffenamt stamps, with an associated steel scabbard stamped '4382 / J', some chipping to one grip
