A SWISS PATTERN 1899 OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD BY WKC,
circa mid 20th Century, with 33in. plated pipe-backed blade etched with the Swiss Cross in a sun-burst design on both sides, ricasso marked 'SCHWEIZ / Uniformenfabrik / BERN-ZURICH-GENF' to one side and the Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Company knight symbol on the other, plated hilt with pierced scroll-work guard with Swiss cross, black fish-shin grip bound with brass wire, red and gold sword-knot, together with its plated scabbard, one grip-wire loop broken and plating worn from chape but otherwise very good
