A BRAZILIAN PATTERN 1889 CAVALRY SWORD,
circa early 20th Century, with 32in. plain slightly curved blade with single fuller each side, ricasso etched with 'A E C MARCA REGISTRADA', steel guard embossed with Brazilian state arms, ribbed brass grip together with its blued steel scabbard with single suspension ring, some small patches of surface rusting to the scabbard but otherwise excellent and appearing unissued, 39 1/2in. overall
