A FRENCH CONSULATE PERIOD COURT SWORD, circa 1815, with 33in. double-edged steel blade etched with scroll-work and cypher, guilt brass half shell hilt with mother-of-pearl inlaid grips and worn sword-knot, with its black leather scabbard with brass locket, blade stained with rust at the tip, scabbard worn and missing the chape, 39in. overall
