AN IMPERIAL GERMAN MODEL 1889 WORLD WAR I INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD circa 1916, with 34in. unmarked blade with double-fullered with two fullers each side, fish-skin grip with white wire remains and mounted Prussian coat-of-arms, gold-painted brass guard and pommel, leather hanging loop, together with its steel scabbard, badly painted in brown over black with some shallow denting, 40 1/2in. overall
