Ordnance proofed barrel with swamped muzzle, the lock of India pattern Brown Bess type modified for percussion, stamped with the Crown G.R. Tower cypher, (action at fault) regulation brass mounted walnut stock, the gun was probably made from a cut down and modified India Pattern Brown Bess Musket.
