Whitworth-steel semi-smokeless proofed barrels with raised tapered file cut rib, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full and full choke, some dents, the underside of the barrels with the Whitworth trade mark and engraved 'SIR W.G. ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH & CIE FLUID PRESSED STEEL', side-clipped treble-grip action with hidden third bite, removable striker discs, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SUR' detail arrow cocking-indicators, acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the left lockplate signed 'COLLEYE BISSON SUCr.', the right '35 RUE ST. QUENTIN. PARIS', retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, missing side nail and right lockplate screw, 14 1/4in. stock with ultra slim cheekpiece and subtle semi-pistolgrip, sling swivels, including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 11oz.
