for 1976, 27 5/8in. (70cm) nitro barrels, the rib with partial file-cut finish and gold-inlaid in gothic script 'Ferlib Italia' at the breech end, the left tube engraved 'Libero Serraglio - GARDONE V.T.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, removable striker discs, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fences with fluted oval features, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, the action and furniture engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, the lockplates with finely engraved game senes of hoopoe and pigeon over woodland pathways, the underside with a scene of further hoopoe on a gnarled tree stump, the triggerplate signed 'A. BREGOLI INC.', the triggerguard tang gold-inlaid with the serial number, bright finish overall, 15 1/2in. boldly-figured stock including 3/4in. wooden extension, small insert detail to comb, 10in. fore-end engraved en suite and with crossed feathers at the knuckle, weight 6lb. 9oz.
