A .455 SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION SERVICE-REVOLVER, MODEL 'MKIV', serial no. 89944,
first issued in 1903, with 4in. barrel, integral blade fore-sight, break-open frame with stirrup locking latch and automatic ejecting cylinder, the right side of frame with re-issue dates to 1913, chequered hard rubber birdshead grips, slight bullet damage to right edge of trigger and guard, strong traces of faded finish remaining
