with oxidized drop-point 2 1/2in. line-locking blade with polished irregular margin on both sides along its length, stained, stabilised flamed beech-wood forward bolsters with polished bone scales, polished liners with satin finished mainspring with a further irregular polished margin and inlet midway with a piece of flamed beech-wood, the interior hand inscribed 'LA VIE NE VAUT D'ETRE VECUE SANS AMOUR' (Life is not worth living without love) together with the makers signature, complete with a leather storage pouch, unused in its makers card carton
