Swiss circa 1810 and converted from flintlock, with heavy octagonal 34 1/2in. micro-rifled barrel, the breech-end signed 'L. WINTER IN THUSIS', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, standing 'rugby post' elevating rear-sight, plain top-tang, plain bar-action lock, walnut full-stock (inlet repair above lock) with iron Swiss-style heel-plate, complex iron trigger-guard bow, double set triggers, angel-wing sideplate, iron ramrod thimbles and nose-cap, ramrod absent, iron surfaces stained
