with oak folding seat with brass hinged with 'E' & 'G' over crossed pistols trade mark, with unusual split shaft, steel spike with fixed ferrule, measuring approx. 32 1/2in.

Other Notes: The crossed pistols with an E and G trademark was registered in 1895 by Eisenwerke Gaggenau, Germany, established in 1683 as an ironworks in the town of Gaggenau. The pistols illustrated in the trademark are of Michael Flürscheim (MF) of Eisenwerke Gaggenau design.
