COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA', side mounted sprung ejector, rammer removed and aperture filled, fluted stepped cylinder, hinged loading gate to right hand side of the open iron frame, the left hand side marked 'COLTS PATENT', brass grip-straps and trigger guard, the left hand side at head stamped with a letter 'C' above the 'Rampant Horse' Colt trademark, smooth walnut grip and London proofs
