28in. black powder only Metford rifled barrel engraved 'GEORGE GIBBS, 29, CORN STREET, BRISTOL', and 'METFORD'S PATENT, 697', block-mounted folding leaf sights with white metal inlaid sight lines and marked for 100 and 200 yards, block-mounted folding bead and aperture fore-sight, action engraved 'GEORGE GIBBS BRISTOL' on the left side and 'FARQUHARSON'S PATENT 88' on the right, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, 14 1/4in. pistolgrip stock (missing toe of pistolgrip) with horn pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, fore-end with crosspin release catch, missing finial, weight 7lb. 7oz
