Continental, possibly French, with short squared 2in. barrel above an integral iron frame with borderline and scroll engraving, rear mounted exposed hammer, the front of frame comprised of four integral rings, the uppermost containing the trigger, the left hand side with folding double-edged 2 1/4in. blade locking on a spring (spring weak) and with carved edges to the forte, cleaned of finish
